1st thing I don't like about this company is its management. The backend people are not at all supportive of the Site Managers, they just leave them on their own. Salaries are not on time, there is no overtime payment at all. if you are working for a double shift also they will not recognize. The company is full of politics, if you are not favorite to your site head or area manager then it's going to be a tough time. Worst Management. Hungerbox top management don't support their own staff infront of the vendor. When it comes to choosing HB employee and vendor, they go with vendor. They recruit Hotel Management Candidates stating that they operate corporate cafeteria. But the fact is, they just have an app which helps the employees to place the order in cafe. So Hotel Management Candidates with ot without experience should avoid joining this company. You will spoil your career and skills over here. They don't even let you go inside the kitchen and tell the vendor/chef about any food complaint or food readiness. You are not allowed to scold any vendor staff if they make any mistakes. You are expected to just observe the operations, refill the crockery/cutlery, and just check if there is any problem in the app. None of the staff over there is from HM background. Every single guy over there just speaks about tech and not food. If at all you scold the vendor or vendor complaints about you to the management, instead of investigating whether it's vendor's mistake or yours, the management will change your site or ask you to leave. They don't even have a office in Mumbai. Theor office is located in Bangalore. There is no HR in Mumbai who could be of your help in such conditions. There is no physical existence of this company in Mumbai apart from their Operational sites.
