Due to current geo-political tension Huawei being the Chinese co facing lot of enquiries from various authorities so being in finance department there was no work life balance at all. Due to these challenges the workings hours for a day was generally 11-12 hours which top management of the co. also accepted but reward for the same was not given even after making a promise that your efforts will be properly rewarded. Another very disappointing point was time management "irrespective of the fact that till what time you are working in office to complete the work next day you have to reach office maximum by 9:30 AM failing which there will be exception to your attendance for which you need to get clearance for the management which was not easy & if exception will not be clear salary for those many days will be on hold" There is no flexibility at all in terms of working from home "even if you are working from home still you have to apply for leave because as per their policy there is no mechanism of work from home"...Read More

Most of the Higher Management has not worked in any other companies other than Huawei. So they don’t know work culture and follow illogical theory of nobody should be free for self development. Too many illogical processes and tasks are created without having any fruitfull output. Focus is on quantity not on quality.
