Salary is good. Perks are good. Have met really amazing people on this journey so far with Homelane. The idea of this company is excellent.

Dislikes

1. There is no work life balance. 2. We have a set of listed holidays but are forced to work on every single one of them. There are no festivals, no weekends, no life. 3. Work life culture, offices, management is very toxic. 4. Procedures are so lengthy, forget the client, designers get frustrated. Getting a house done for a client should not be this difficult. 5. Incentives are good but no special incentive reaches employees on time/ maybe never. 6. Leave structure is good but we cannot take 2 days of continuous leaves. 7. There is no learning curve, no growth. People less experienced are hired for management/ principal designer post and then are expected to be helped by employees working from far before and with more experience. If you find yourself among the colleague who don't do politics. You can genuinely grow yourself because people learn well when no one support your. and management only support people who do politics and drag hard working people down.

Dislikes

if you are a fresher or 1-2 year experienced. you will learn a alt here. but after 6 month, you will learn everything a company is capable to each you. after that you are only here to justify there inhouse software and non-logical standards. there are many modular company in industry who provide better warranty then homelane as well as have huge design scope. after 6 month you are only here to numbers to the company, after doing good there is no respect to people who don't do politics. and much surprising thing is company do a layoff twice a year on the name of no finance after achieving all the targets....Read More

lot of office politics, sales person are just an pain in the as* preferred to be an asholes ,city managers have zero knowledge how interior industries work and the sales and city manger try's to experiment new strategies which should not be used on a client ,the sales try to dominate you as if they are paying you the investors play lot of office politics he only sees money only never sees a employee as a family member there are situation were the firm is not directly handled by homelane but by a franchise owner these fire you one month before completing your probation period when you ask them for experience letter he says we cant give and stuff these franchise owners never provide you appointment letter the city manager wants only to sit and enjoy if any escalation arise which he is supposed to take up he dumps on the designers also makes new stories of his own as if it is his showroom also doesn't rectifies any office conflicts between employees when the employees put in up of GM or HR the city manger try's to convince you to not to tell them the issues also only sees the benefits were he will be saved such as the employee performance is measured by metrics by design central team but he convinces the employee saying that no one is bothered about the metrics only the 3 month contribution which he will calculate from which month you have not performed apart from which you have performed also touchers in whatsapp group were only the employees him and the investors are there apparat from the employees reporting mangers by dropping messages such as reminding of targets and threats of removing you for not reaching it by sending them before office hours and after office hours its okay if he askes during office hours but here there is no personal space they just enter like a bull layoff happens suddenly and your asked to put down your papers by yourself because if company removes you they have to pay you one month additional salary as per policy's...Read More
