Growth is only based on which college you come from. Laterally hired employee can be performing excellently but you wont move up the ladder because of the grade of the college which is very sad. Due to this it is loosing a lot of great talent of the company to other players.

If a person joins at a lower level it's very difficult for him/her to be a part of the senior management. Company is totally driven by IIMs and IITs hence after a certain level it's very difficult to break the ice and move ahead.
