I have been a Top performer, but some things really hurt when there is no increment and promotions for even the top performer, then it's like the management sees every one in the same line, also new products initiation and development is not happening as per market need. Over all an average experience, those who perform can't think of elevation or growth, work pressure is too high, and it's very difficult to any new comer to adjust with the companies norms....Read More

C.K.Birla group of company having very good name in the industry and reputation is good. Very good brand image and cultured. Building materials industry is good for growth.

Dislikes

Off the late, the new top level management came from FMCG industry who do not know the building materials market and least bother about culture and better relationship. No respect to subordinates and there is no good working culture. Heavy torture and they are not understanding the market conditions. No support and least knowledge about market. This results us to came out from company.

I had total 28 years of service out of which 26 years was very good. After the new management from FMCG, every good things have gone to dust. They do not have the knowledge of building materials industry and how to behave with network and subordinates.

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)
