Some of the managers are good. You will learn how to handle pressure and will get good exposures on auditing.

The environment in kolkata office is very poor. You need to think hundred times before approaching to the partner. The management is not at all approachable. Also you wont get salary at time. in every month there is a delay of 8-10 days. Sometimes it will come on installments.

The ability to have an excellent work life balance is one of the best things about working at Haribhakti & Co. However, this does depend on the department you work in, and the audit assignment that you are plotted on, as there are periods of late night sitting and other periods of early leaving (for most members of staff from articles to Senior Managers). 1) Salaries are not so good, but they are offset by a good work life balance. The biggest disappointing aspect about this is that salaries are delayed by almost 10 days every month, and in some cases, the delay exceeds almost 3 weeks, affecting all levels, including interns. 2) Appraisals are never completed on time, and are actioned rather late in the process (almost 6-7 months later). This is the first workplace where I have observed final appraisal being delayed by over 2 years each time, and the back payments are then made to all members in a staggered manner over 3-4 months. 3) Company culture is very poor due to the absence of a proper organisational structure with a authority matrix that defines clear roles and responsibilities across the line functions. Adding to these woes, the admin support staff, including HR, Accounts, and other functions are clueless on many queries raised to their attention and are rarely able to provide the right solutions....Read More
