2 week offs, and work life balance

Dislikes

Unproductive work performed by base staff like laboures with no skill development, no system knowledge. Management is poor as they never help the staff and just focues on there comfort and leasure. Store politics are on the higher side as if you are close to your manager than only there are chances to get salary hike or promotions.Getting promoted the company is a biggest issue as you have to first get high rating than only you are eligible to sit in the internal career oppertunity. If you still manage to get high then you have compitition with another 40-50 people in area who are fighting for only 3-4 seats to get promoted. HR doesn't gives a damm about your life as 1 HR is only taking care of 10-12 stores in area. Overall its like working in a factory with intense physical work with 2 week offs. It hurts to say but Indians have overcome to higher post of the company, as a result the work culture, store environment have destroyed. H&M has not remain the same as it was 5yrs earlier. Great culture, better work life balance with 2weekoffs, training and development at its best with good structured methods or best practices. Quarterly Attire for sales advisor. Safety and security is good. Facility like pantry, bathrooms and meeting room are provided for employees. Good company for learning and understand to retail management.

Dislikes

Expectation on sales, work force and visual merchandising are high than realistic views.
