So far it was Gradeup, everything about it was nice. The best place to work with the nicest leaders. After the acquisition, everything went for a toss. there was no job security, tremendous work pressure, no guidance, working around the clock and constant threat of firing in the name of cost cutting. They hired in good numbers during the pandemic and since 2021, this firing cult become all the more prominent. People were being put under PIPs without any plausible reason. That itself was a clue that you are going to be fired and this PIP was just a sham. They barely pay attention to quality. You have clowns in the name of teachers (barring a few of course) who can even dance and sing in front of the camera to bring the crowd. Everything was problematic except the remunerations. Horrible horrible place to work. I reiterate, so long it was Gradeup, the work culture, leadership, people, all of this was positive. the moment Byju's took over, the quality of people and content went down in the gutter. Company Internal Politics, Senior Managers not caring about the views of juniors. They think that only experience brings the best work. Management never addressed the issues properly. Teachers are spoon feeded here.
