There was good growth prospects and the department HODs all were very supportive of the team and other departments views and opinions.

Work Details

I was with Goldstar from 1999 to 2011 so that was a good long period. Was handling HR department as an Executive and went on to become a Manager HR. Handled Generalist HR profile for plant and Corporate Staff.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

_Lessons Learned from 1.3 Years of Remote Work_ 1. Separate friendship and professional work to maintain professionalism. 2. Keep career decisions and sensitive information confidential. 3. Avoid procrastination by staying focused on goals and prioritizing tasks. 4. Focus on personal growth, rather than comparing yourself to others. 5. Set clear boundaries and prioritize tasks to maintain productivity. 6. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor, even in virtual interactions. 7. Use video conferencing tools to stay connected with colleagues. 8. Prioritize integrity by delivering high-quality work. 9. Take ownership of your career by setting goals and seeking feedback. 10. Establish clear expectations with colleagues and managers. 11. Celebrate achievements and recognize progress to stay motivated. By applying these lessons, I've been able to thrive in a remote work environment.
