Work culture, Data team has really great people. the managers are nice. Problem statements are very interesting to solve . Sophisticated deployment setups. Steep learning curve for junior level DS.

Dislikes

Appraisals are too low. Right now they are going through huge losses. I am writing this in 2023 July . So appraisal , promotions and salary increments have all been really dissatisfactory. Too much reorg happening.

Earlier the company had a good work culture but now after the changes in higher management everything has become worst. Its not the same company as it was before. BEWARE before joining as there is no hob security as well as the work level has also detoriated

1- Startup style workplace 2- Fast paced environment Gojek as a workplace has a great culture promoting autonomy and work-life balance. You are given the freedom to work outside out the mundane 9-5 clock, instead, it's a more project based environment which promotes collaboration.

1- Ambiguous leadership communication 2- Onsite only (No remote/ hybrid) The leadership's vision for the company can sometimes be presented in an ambiguous fashion making it very difficult to align your long term goals with the company's goals.
