GE is big company. Every team has its own target and culture. Policies are strict and focus on timelines is high. People do work responsibly and with discipline.

Dislikes

Most engineers are overloaded with work. Its very common to keep manager in copy to get work done, which shows lack of support/importance. Big company and little opportunity to growth. Open culture is on books, every review or discussion with higher management need planning and execution on what to discuss. A direct connect between engineer and executive band will cause lots of eyebrows raised for middle management and is not taken in positive sense....Read More
