Depends totally on your reporting manager. If he is supporting you then expect a good work life balance.

Dislikes

Lot of politics and family spirit just to say. It does not reflect ever in the actions of the company. No growth in the organisation even after years you will be doing the same thing in the organisation. No new learnings for junior only focus daily on the orders and do not expect much in return even if the company performance is excellent. Appraisal are around constant every year. The company is a great place to work in terms of family spirit, good team-mates, flexible policies, etc.

Dislikes

The worst part about Forbes Marshall is the pay - salary as well as the non-clarity of Variable Component during Salary Negotiation stage.

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety

The only good thing about this company is if you are looking to work somewhere for 30+ years this is the organisation for you. It helps you with a comfort zone and has good family spirit. Safe place for women to work.

Dislikes

The growth opportunities for any individual is almost nil unless you are in sales. The salary is not in par with the industry, if you want salary growth this is not the place for you. Everything is manual here , there are no welcome kits , no vending machines, good cafeteria etc . Getting resources to help with projects and work is a problem. No perks or benefits aside from the salary.
