Firstly they make you dream of all good things during the interview. When you join that is when the worst nightmare begins. There is strong politics. Very sloww growth, in comparison to other companies the salary is far below industry standards. No reimbursement or appreciation for working late, working on weekends or on holidays. Some projects make you use your grey cells, they are difficult Some are easy. Projects are very interesting and you get to learn if you genuinely want to.
I was warned and told to think twice before joining the company. I didn’t listen which I regret till date. I feel like I have wasted my years in this company which gave me absolutely nothing. The pay is so low, if you compare to industry standards they are lagging behind a lot! It is like sarkari naukri. Hardwork is not appreciated. The amount of work given is indirectly proportional to the salary. Why do they even have appraisals in the first place if the payout is so shockingly low. They should keep it to themselves. Being an employee myself, there is no satisfaction, there is lack of growth being in this company, the management doesn’t care. Extrem politics, manager ego issue, Micromanagement, don't allow to take leaves, try to control their colleague life's, personal interfere and can spoil their reporties career just because of theirs ego issues by not providing promotion and appraisal and ruin their rating. Managment team of the process AFLAC which is I was working in is very bad. Too much cost cutting, too much pressure on the employees. They hire the employees on 6 months contract, however there have no policy in EXL.

No HR department. The company events are lavish and mandatory to attend. Work life balance is totally on manager's wish. Only IT spocs are required here as no technology development is done here.
