It was a good company few years back but the culture is slowly getting like a typical service based company.

The organization culture is slowly seeing a decline. Earlier they used to have multiple rounds of interviews, coding tests or practical tests to judge the candidate. However, they are now taking all sorts of candidates without much scrutiny, this could be to minimize costs as good candidates demand better compensation. Good work culture and employee centered management. Extra benefits need little improvement like health policy, cab facility, overtime allowance etc. Learning depends on your project and team. Apart from that you entitled to use one month of salary amount on any elearning or certification as per your requirement which can help your carrier and organization goals as well

Evolent has been a great employer through this tough time as well. The work-life balance still exists. It respects one's personal life and gives ample amount of time to focus on both. The company has even provided monetary compensation to set-up home office and continue that. One of the best employers I have worked for.

Dislikes

Internal processes (e.g. exit formalities) need to improve (the team is already working hard on that). Hiring process should be monitored to avoid favouritism. Interviews are being flooded with candidates from same company.
