Warning : Toxic Work Environment 1. Misleading recruitment practice: The recruitment team uses company stock as a lure,promising unrealistic values and minimal salary hikes.However, the current stock values indicates that CTC is very less 2.Lack of Respect for PMO : The company undervalues PMO,treating them as inferior. This reflected in lower salary hikes and poor performance ratings. As it is hardware company, software PMs are more sufferer. 3. Poor Work Culture : Meetings can be scheduled at any time, and top leaders frequently use profanity. The company's expectation of employees to undergo training on culture is hypocritical. 4.Abusive leadership : Senior directors at offshore in PMO treat employees condescendingly,targeting those who dont comply with their demands. Their work is always priorities though actually it is not. Create unnecessary pressure on subordinate. He thinks himself as OLD school headmaster 5.CEO driven Decisions : Employees are expected to prioritized tasks based on the CEO's whims, often disrupting their regular work. Using the CEO's name can get tasks expedited, creating an unfair work environment. 6. Unnecessary pressure and health risks : Leadership creates undue pressure on team members,leading to health issues like heart attacks and panic attacks 7.Poor compensation and benefits : Despite promises,bonuses have been infrequent ( mostly no) and no salary hikes for last two years ,stock values have plummeted,effectively reducing employees' salaries. 8. Inequitable salary structure : PMO roles have significantly lower salaries compared to engineering and product mgmt teams,despite being help responsible for project failures. 9. Layoff and Uncertainties : The company has conducted multiple layoffs without clear criteria,leave employees on edge. Those who doesn't put oil on boss are more likely to be let go 10. Lack of Vision and direction: The company's long term vision is unclear. CEO is busy in reviewing weekly releases. Dont spend much time on future vision. They mostly work on short term vision and take drastic action. That is everything becomes critical and team has to slog to complete within short span of time. Employee retention is very low,with most people leaving within in a year or two. The exceptions are those who joined long back with $17 or less stock value. Ironically,these individuals tend to be less productive. Additionally a few long tenured Engineering managers in the cloud division have mastered the art of delegating tasks and avoiding actual work and not visible for long time....Read More

The Job is not Rocket Science, But the management makes it Rocket Science for basic Science which was learnt in 10th. Management is complicated and they want the employees to Hold their buckets for promotions even after having 100% efficiency else Managers will have grudges and they will start terminating.
