Contract employee major parts are the dislikes lets start from basics as to promotions and appraisals, then the most effecting thing are the leaves which overall for the whole year or your contract period is only given 12, no mater your emergency situations or in your family someone's death happens they clearly do not care as they will put LOP if the 12 leaves are over. Even if people are sick you're supposed to join. Now another important part recently a covid case was reported but all the permanent employee get to leave and staff sanitized all the surrounding areas but all contracts employees were seated some didnt even get to know what had happened and why everyone left other than them. So no care of their health. They dont have any option to wfh or no hybrid as well. Next if you're an outsider from non tamil speaking background, you'll get into manu discussions some might be imp related to work as well but the people will somehow forget that you're there and keep speaking in Tamil untill you ask them to repeat in hindi then they'll histate and leave imp things and just repeat it simply leaving all main points somehow which will later be called out by seniors that you havent done, Now next the night allowance is only rs 50 for a day ,not hourly rates just overall its 50rs , then No Overtime pay but they'll say they might give a comp off , some people get it some dont. Third party payroll HR from Adecco or Manpower are of no use almost they are just there to take care that you dont take leaves more than given and add LOPs , sometimes even if you take more than 2 leaves in a month rest get counted as LOP as per their policy, Now because you being a third party employee, you are excluded from many important things in your projects and you'll feel left out even on floor parties going on. Eg: some parties would go on the floors but only blue tag employees would get access to those parts or just simply for picking snacks only blue tags are allowed, green/third party employee would be shooed out by the managing staffs....Read More

The company has multiple business units while i would like to share my specific exp, within my department where i worked in. Unfortunately my time was not really enjoyable due to certain challenges in the workplace environment. There was a noticeable presence of workplace disparities , which impacted team dynamics and overall productivity. The management often appeared to prioritize the personal connections over merit when building the team, leading to lack of fairness and opportunities and assignments. Interactions were often not polite, and there was general lack of mutual respect among the team. This made the work environment less collaborative and more than stressful than it needed to be. Conversations were often abrupt and dismissive, creating a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere. The constructive feedback was rare, and communication often felt one-sided which made it difficult to feel valued or heard. This resulted to feel like a toxic kind of environment. I believe the company would greatly benefit from fostering a more inclusive and merit based culture,, promoting respectful communication and focusing on employee well-being. A more open and supportive work culture. Another significant area for improvement is the involvement of skip level managers. Regular checks-in and open forum with employees at all levels could help to identify the local-level issues that might not always surface through the direct managers.
