I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)

It doesn't matter how good you perform over the year but at time of appraisal they will tell you your weakness only and on the basis of that you will get appraisal of approx 5-10%. Manager will praise you all over year but at last when you will be sure that you will get a good appraisal at that time you will know what is your actualperformance. Any how you will not get more than 5-10%. Also appraisal month is October but they will extend it to November and you will get appraised salary from January. No support from management, no job security. Worst policies and management is least bouther about employees.

Dislikes

There is no scope for job satisfaction and job security. They all ask employees to leave the company without any reason as on when they feel. Level 2 manager will play the blame game on their subordinates to save his job. Suggest not to join this company even if you get good package. After joining they will remove your job without reason.
