Work-life balance is not good. They want employees to take up initiatives outside of project even if you are allocated 100% on project and already working overtime. This is mandatory only to India employees. Such initiatives are not applicable to outside India employees. Just because we have to show a attendance/participation in these, people do it. Job security is good, no one was laid off in the pandemic as far as I know. Compensation and benefits are good, salaries were hiked in the range of 30-60% in 2018 to curb attrition but now hikes are as usual 8-14%, depending on rating.

Dislikes

Every year we are expected to do the same mandatory courses which is pointless. Politics is scary here. Deserving people who have spent many years in the company are ill-treated whereas new hires are promoted just to show what a great place to work Duck Creek is. Some projects are not managed properly resulting in unnecessary stressfor employees in the form of working weekends. Work-life balance is non-existent, projects are executed with small teams and people have to slog nights and weekends to complete tasks. Only the dearest pets of the senior management go onshore.
