Work life balance is generally poor. PIP/focus is a very bad tool which can be used by managers if you don’t have good rapport with them . If you are under a bad manager who is partial and micromanaging then your life becomes hell. And lots of unnecessary docs come in the way of doing good work

Amazon currently has no vision how to move forward. The leadership is clueless on what to bring in, they living far away from reality...in a market that's fast changing they expect teams to find out answers on why the sky is blue. One obvious answer is its already been proved that sky is blue by multiple physicist but they will ask it has to be proved by amazon way of doing it thus creating redundant work. I truly doubt how the leadership can be so naive in their thinking process, they don't even use their products themselves which is one main reason why they need surveys to understand their own app and it's flaws....Read More

One need to own their work life Balance and draw your personal boundaries, it’s okay to say no, else your meeting and work never end. Career growth is average. Promotion are not solely based on performance, this affects at a lot as managers keep changing often.
