Job security.

For every late coming there is a pay cut. However it can be even by 1 mint late arrival to office. Their leave policy is such that it forces an employee to take leave without pay when in need. They have total 26 leaves, out of which 16 are annual. And to avail anuual leaves one has to apply 21 days prior and must take 5 leaves at atleat at a time. To avail rest of the annual leaves next time, employee has to wait for next 3 months and then will be eligible to apply again. Least bothered to provide wfh to their employess even during spiked covid cases....Read More

Work is really less. Its both good and bad.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
