WLB and the job satisfaction is missing for me as the technologies being used are very old here which eventually blocks the skill growth in terms of experience with modern age tools and tech.

I think the flexibility that Deloitte offers is amazing and as an employee, I am free to work from wherever I want to, and there is no micro management. The team is very professional and there is not much hierarchy.

Dislikes

The salary paid by Deloitte is not commensurate to the work. Appraisal, especially at Deloitte, India are not up to the mark and overall I believe you are underpaid significantly at Deloitte.

- my initial 1.5 years was great because of my project later my project changed and the working hours extended. long working hours as 12 to 15hrs per day. -Did not got promoted even after my performance was good. -Late night calls

More politics and bad appreciation/increments. If anyone looking for constant slow growth with less pressure, go for it. For the other who want the appreciation to the work contribution it is completely depending on the Partner who is leading the project and who is friendly to him.

Attitude of the Partners and the fact that Deloitte India does follow a cajolery culture when it comes to securing global projects. Therefore, its difficult to maintain professional and personal dignity at workplace.

Dislikes

There’s a high chance you might end up in a project which has very toxic colleagues, typically your senior, who take credit for the work done and question your inputs on project. This is not on all projects, but depends on your luck.

There’s nothing to like here. Security system is bad, everybody is aware of your personal details. Emails and phone numbers. I saw my friend getting harassed for 2 years and this is because of data breach and they have asked her to lodge a complaint in police station . They haven’t acknowledged anything being a mnc. After that he started looping everyone in vulgur mails harassing her cc’ing everyone. Eventhough she gave complaints about specific person. Performance management is worst part of Deloitte, If Manager is happy you will get the promotion irrespective of the work done. Promotions are very difficult in Deloitte, they just find reasons to deny Promotions for hard working people. This is the place for show off people who just dependent on English than the skills.
