Having job security is one of the most vital aspects of one's profession. It allows me to not only be financially successful but to also mentally be free. One of the main highlights from my time working at Delivery Centric is that they ensure job security. This is a factor that I value to a great amount as this helps me have a financially stable life and it allows me to keep my career goals on track. Having a job that is safeguarded helps me relax and settle not having to worry about the loss of my job. This provides me to be more concentrated on my work than on unnecessary thoughts about the potential loss of a job which i have personally had in other companies that I have worked for. At one point in my time at Delivery Centric, I sensed that there was an opportunity for an increase in my pay. I then later let Delivery Centric and the General manager know how I felt and I was surprised with their response. They immediately resolved my issue which gave me a sense of assurance in my job. New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me.
