Being a fast-paced contract manufacturing company, any engineer who joins the company should expect a steep learning curve as there are a lot of responsibilities that are handed to process engineers and one has the opportunity to really become the jack of all trades but it all comes at a cost of something else such as terrible and ve ry toxic work culture, zero innovation or innovative minds (although innovation is one of their taglines, it is definitely all a facade) and etc....Read More

The first thing that really stands out is the extremely toxic work culture (I am only referring to the process engineering dept here), it is a fact that every meritorious who has joined the organisation has left within a year, if not earlier. And every other person who stays in the organization for long definitely has some connection s or wields a considerable amount of power in the orgnisation or is a product of nepotism. It is appalling to note that even the site head (who might seem to be very innovative, is also on this despicable list). And let's not even talk about getting genuine efforts recognized or your opinions heard. Never going to happen (unless you are a really good groveller/bootlicker). And last but not least, the HR dept is absolutely filled with people with 0 background in HR, and extremely incompetent dimwits who treat the organization as the backyard of their Goan villa. And also the process engineering head will force you to work Saturdays and even some Sundays, because he does so himself and thinks it's okay....Read More

Deccan fine chemicals being located in Goa is the only thing which I like because Goa is free from chemical pollution.

Working in process department is actually of no use. This department is headed by one man army It's actually person oriented company. To Excel in Deccan you require God father rather than chemical engineering skills.
