The actual seen was they have called me for interview at 7may and solve the rental issue and after that you can join from Monday. After shifting they have neglect for 19 days and then yesterday ther have told that see you in next opportunity. Is this is wrong or right a person came from more than 900 km to learn something from decathlon and paying rent around 15k just by trusted their employees suggested me to stay near by before hiring. This was my bad experience ever and I really hate decathlon from today onwards and also recommend other not to join decathlon....Read More

The politics is so immense even to the point of the heads of states. Example in Greater Noida Store, a mass resignation is seen in few months, no one has even laid focus why. The new store leader has brought all the people he likes or are close to him. People like Shivani Soni, who are not capable of a thing are coach and people like Abhijeet Das and Shubham Dey are told to be incompetent. They have few people with a very political mindset. They promote only their people who follow their order without any question. In covid-19 the only good part was the company didn't deduct any salary but at the ground Store manager and operation manager were not supportive.

Dislikes

Politics No personal life we have work for more than 10hrs(8hours in-store more than 2hrs at home). If you talk about this thing then you will be on their radar. Within 2months they will be fired you.

Work Details

Overall it was very nice to work with Decathlon. It was retail job, it was good to interact with customers and talk to them about their favourite sports. Learning was always fun there.
