Career Growth: Near Zero career growth which is the most disappointing fact. Maybe you can grow in management side but no technical growth. Salary: Salary is good and company gives bonuses depending on profit. But no parity check in a team. My juniors were earning 2 lacs more than me anually. Appraisal: This is also very disappointing. Appraisal cycle starts in the end of April & if you have joined after May, you won't get it that year. Also once appraisal is approved, it comes to effect on September only. So eventually you need to wait 2 years for appraisal. Politics: Too much politics, at least between the team I worked on & the India HR, management. Even-though the project director from US approves something, the India HR & management rejects it. Would you see that anywhere else ? Policy: It's like the old Kingdom-ship. Suddenly they can do anything. For me, when I joined notice period was 1 month. Suddenly 1 fine morning, they changed it to 3 months. For one of my colleague, he got his designation changed 1 fine morning like this. There is absolutely no process controlling all these. Innovation: This also near zero.
