the only question is why I am impacted by the CI Team if others are also performing less compared to me and most importantly I never left my task pending but still they targeted me to the layoff list, take interviews of all CI candidates who is working in my level i can't take anyone names....

Ciena is a great place to work, explore and make connections and overall grow in the IT industry. For the past year or so I've been part of Ciena, the best part I've felt is that its a company a person can settle and give years especially later in their career. The culture is very employee centric and there are many verticals to work and contribute. They are very flexible wit the timings and the managers and colleagues are very supportive. I am working as a remote employee and their remote program is one of the very best in the industry. I got laid off in April 2023 due to organisational changes in my division which i've been seeing and hearing are taking place almost every year. And what I've heard the layoff are not in great quantity but there are layoffs for multiple people at multiple locations. I don't hold a grudge, its not in my nature, I still rated the company 4 starts. But one thing I've notices as part of my team that their are manu projects with very less development and the work at some times not much exciting. Also their is a lot of salary variation among people with same experience or job title....Read More
