Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

Likes

The place helped me develop confidence when I dragged them to the labour court, without any support. This helped in building trust in the legal system. Maybe, I was just lucky.

Dislikes

The thing worth abhorring about the place is Chakde TV itself. You'll dislike the date and time of signing the offer letter.

Work Details

I was in the backend of the news production and a virtual assistant to the owner/director/whatever.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
