Poor implementation of everything, over ambitious management, disconnect between the lower and higher level employees, fear-driven work instead of value-driven work (has its exceptions in some outstanding officers), slow career growth, poor appraisals, no reward for sincere work and horrible work life balance. Over a period of time,employees get used to this lifestyle and hold the job too close to the heart without thinking adequately about its impact on the family and social life. The higher the rank, the dearer the job gets and lessens the ability of the employee to identify black from white.
