There is immense scope to improve and streamline process as they recently spun off and most operations are outsourced which are now being bought inhouse.

Carrier is just starting its digital and IoT journey so good scope for growth there. Good job security. If you want to only grow in a tech path, a good company.

Dislikes

Salary increments are just average. Enter at a good level if you can. PM practices are Carrier specific. Only now picking standard agile, so there will be quite a bit of PM stuff not seen outside.

Product development is good but the management needs a bit more vision. India unit is good to work but night calls and a bit of service behaviour hangover seen in many people.

Only the pay is good where you get additional 15k on top of your salary. Maybe that would be removed in future.

Very dirty politics, the business are illiterate and never listen to you. The US business heads control the Hyderabad office and they think like you are 3rd grade cheap labour whom they ask to dance how they like just to satisfy their ego and to hide their mistakes. There are much better companies out there so consider other options before accepting their offer.

I joined this company with lost of hope and respect as it is product based organisation. No knowledge sharing resulted in no growth. People are not liked to share knowledge to secure their positions. Manager gives multiple silly reasons for cost cutting and make u to resign. They dont like growth in company only existing projects are getting managed.
