This company should be called CalSlave and not Calsoft. I feel this is my stupidest mistake to join here. No pros.

The manager and HR here hold all power over you. Trust me they do not care how much you work or much the client appreciates your work. The only thing they care about is whether you are obedient as a slave. They will move your lunch times, they will move their meetings to day/night whenever they feel like. If you do not obey something, you'll be threatened everytime for you salary. For everything there is an LOP warning. Client is a God to them and they will let you die before they "disappoint" their client. Projects are rubbish. They will move you from 1 project to another like a chess piece. The "middle men" here hold personal grudges over on you for nothing. DO NOT JOIN this place if you want mental stability....Read More

All HR and managers are worried about project margin. Spoiling engineers skill set and playing with their careers. They will always threatening about the job loosing and force engineers to work for 15-16 hours.

The hikes and appraisal system here is not dependent on your performance but completely on how your relation is with your manager and director, how likely you are to leave the company. The only way to get decent hike is to resign.

they dont give appraisals and even if you live thousands of km away from home and you ask them 1 month wfh once a year still they have issues that only a week we can give..... management is controlled by HRs and rest all technical members are puppets.

It's a pathetic company. When there is no problem, HRBP will ask continuously "if you have any problem PLEASE do tell, I'll always be there to help". If you have some serious problems and share it with them they'll just even refuse to hear it and say "you are the wrong person". Nobody wants any honesty here , HRBP, Lead, Manager. And Managers and leads always compare everyone with everyone and to the core are very incompetent and pathetic. In my life(let alone work) I've never seen such selfish, cunning lead that i worked with. I had give my blood, sweat and tears. Literally work 13-14 hours/day, trianed and took care of my juniors. Few HR not know what is the mean of HR and they simply deducting leaves when you are submitting medical reports and those days worked from home. Those medical case is serious like serious accident. Actually not all HR but some are doesn't care about the physical and mental health of employees. And taking about few manager, they onlydesignated as manager but actually they don't managed it properly. They are not interacting their team members who are not from Pune.
