I heard that the work culture isn't good and they follow wrong sales tactics and that would be true I am sure but I never experienced that being a non sales person. I liked the culture. All my managers in every project were very supportive and friendly.

Dislikes

Job Security. But that was also not company's fault since it went down itself how could it save other people's jobs.

No work life balance HR dept. of Byjus is the worst is the worst. They donot provide you payslips after you leave the organisation. They donot respond even after multiple requests and mails. The organisational behaviour is very unprofessional.

Dislikes

I've found that Byju's has a very challenging work culture, with high pressure and demanding expectations. However, if you can learn to manage your tasks efficiently and develop a good workflow, it becomes easier to handle the daily workload and navigate the environment.

Freedom to work and incorporate your ideas, company is focusing currently on the objectives and only your deliverables are questioned that too not too much currently. Office timings have to be adhered to and if work is channelized in the right manner you can get it done without much pressure.

Initially the company gave space to explore new strategy at work. Later the company was sinking hence everything was monotonous. The value of employees which they had 3 -5 years ago was commendable.

Dislikes

Very partial, lot of favoritism, no appraisal or promotion meetings, no value for talented people. Its because of wrong leaders. The company was good in the hands of good leaders when they were changed everything changed too.

They will make you work and when they are done with you they will give a lame excuse and fire you

Work nature , senior attitude, only sale sale sale , no worth of an employee, salary wont be payed as promised , ppf not deposited in account at time , FNF not payed at all , and will show they are in loss and will charge you for the loss . No respect for their employees.

as of 2023 & 2024, the company has failed to scale-down properly. So, people are being fired and teams reorganised every 3-4 months, and that led to a lot of delays in creating even the commonly agreed product features. and delays, resulting in bad customer experience.

I apprectaite them for giving me my first job right during my graduation. The pay was pretty good and it was unexpected. The company focused on employee development. There were frequent team outings and rewards given for good performance. I felt valuable while working with byjus. Few managers who had good experience outside byjus were very supportive and acknowledged harkwork and efforts.

Dislikes

Tough the pay was very good but the work-life balance was negligible. Even if you had 30 casual leaves available , 15 sick leaves. U had to email manager well in advance for your sick leaves also. How on earth can a person predict when he or she is gonna fell sick? Plus sometimes it was like working for no heart person. There was zero human nature seen in managers who had started career in byjus and were working for the company for quite a lot time.
