Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Salary will be on time for direct employees. No holding for OT, everything for a month will be cleared on time. Excellent salary disbursement process. One of the best I have seen in Saudi Arabia.

If you're educated and wish to work in the safety department as HSE officer or below, You will hate your profession for sure. They are treating Safety officer like helpers. Same transportation, same shelter, same toilet with long Q for your primary need. Expect from food( mess) be ready to fight with uneducated, mannerless peoples for, transportation, shelter, toilet etc. you have to eat food sitting near to stray dogs and a group of flies daily. One and only department who treat the staff like shit. That HSE department in Br.CAT. If your only aim is making good money go for it. Don't expect respect from anyone. Even helpers will treat you like shit. Conclusion: If you wish to work in the HSE department as Safety officer be ready to clean waste, even the shit of stray dogs and other people. I'm not exaggerating, it's the same you are going to do! Best wishes....Read More
