Moreover, the incompetence of the merchandise department compounds problems, with frequent mismatches and discrepancies in stock management. The necessity to record everything via video to resolve discrepancies further highlights systemic issues. Delays in response to submitted evidence exacerbate frustrations, with resolutions taking months, during which audits are conducted, and shrinkage deductions are arbitrarily made without proper investigation or consideration of employee input.
