Working in Materials is overall good experience , full of challenges and I used to surpass every time and achieve the company goals within the time limit, but during this work life got unbalanced and as no recognition no satisfaction in the end.

Good teammates, Job security is good honest employees,Career growth is average as it takes 3 to 5 year for one promotion. Many times higher positions are filled by recruiting candidate from outside rather than promoting its own deserved employee & served for more years than new recruited candidate.Appraisal system is an formality & salary /gradation depends on whims of boss. Salary structure is good.Internal politics /chamchagiri are part of the system.& hence some time company loose good employees. There is good scope for learning , work environment is good, limited scope for innovations & without expecting rewards especially in junior levels. Career growth is slow & get demotivated when under performer gets promoted as he is loyal to boss. Work pressure is high but not compensated & appraisal system is biased & does not give proper rating for the right candidate. Internal politics makes me feel insecure in my career growth.

My work was existing as I have got opportunity internal job change & got transferred to different function after every 4 to 5 years thru HR dept. which made me multi skill person & with good exposure to all interrelated activities. & good learning scope

I works in office.. It's very nice work. ..my work in attending daily meeting in conference hall..all report collect and gives to meeting. My working file are 17-18..in it.. Ex. Dom backlog, export, backlog, Top Value Items. Etc.and work time to time.
