AVEVA is one of those IT companies where you will feel as always a good place to work in terms of company culture, CSR activities, employee caring and so on. The management in terms of giving you the proper work life balance along with allowing the time for your family is really really appreciated. Here you will find the great place to be in touch with many other teams apart from your working product. AVEVA always understands the value of culture well, whether it is national holidays or any state holiday. Here you will not find so issue of getting leaves for your illness or vacation. AVEVA's HR team is always versatile in organizing different events either through physically or virtually. Most of the time you will find some events or awareness program happening across the globe apart from your work. Even you can join in all those while getting free time. The Hyderabad office is really really a big space in Waverock building and inside it always looks colorful. Annually AVEVA organizes a grand party for all employee for fun and enjoyment in one of the grand hotels. Job security is always here. The situation during covif-19 is the best example for this. Even AVEVA had paid a good amount to the employee for buying the furniture required for setting up their work environment. The place is really cool for them, who crosses the age of 40 as because at that time people always seeks the environment having some kind of job security. Dislikes

I'm into testing. so i can state something related to my field of work. -Outdated Technology -Most of the applications are legacy application, which needs more time to upgrade with trending supporting technology. Because of which, mostly you will get manual work rather than automation. -Hike, growth related to technology is not up to market . -Recognition is not well.

Bad team management but depends upon team, management doesn't take any action on team management even we give the feedback. Legacy application with legacy technology..no latest technology at dev or qa env.no career growth.

AVEVA has a great work-life balance. Apart from work, with the activities in the company, you feel relaxed and encourages to fulfil your passion.

Dislikes

Overall the company is good but it somewhere lacks in the part of salaries and appraisal. The appraisal is average and below the market. Salaries are not up to the market. A few years ago there was a good amount of travel but gradually it has been decreased. Interaction with foreign employees gives some good communication which has been reduced.

Aveva is a great company that cares about the people. We always believed one Aveva one family because it used to treat everybody like a family. The environment is both professional and friendly. I love working here.

Dislikes

I think the salary must be normalized as per the market. I believe except our income everything is increasing in this current situation around the world, but I am sure company will do something about this.

AVEVA provides job security and always welcomes new ideas and encourages flexibility for self-learning. Colleagues to each other very helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

AVEVA surely needs to look into the growth of its employees as a par Market outside. I believe there is significant work required to put employees on their market values. Currently, very slow growth and very nominal hikes. Also, though we see flexibility for self-learning, there is some hesitation when it comes to time allocation from Management or employing those skills on projects. Currently, I work with legacy products of AVEVA. Doesn't seem challenging but if you are a product testing person than a tech-savvy guy, you will love it here.

Work life balance is the one great point i would like to highlight which AVEVA maintains. There was no layoffs even during the pandemic which is commendable.

Dislikes

Salary reviews disappointing. The salary normalization based on individuals performance, experience and job type are not taken into consideration. During the pandemic I had to work for 12 hours day but that work went unnoticed during salary appraisal.

Aveva is good for me and came from marine domain. Treated as good and going work smoothly

Dislikes

Claim and all very difficult to get. Wellbeing items not utilized and higher level approval is not needed this situation.
