Worst management, politics, affairs and every type of drama that is possible in real world can be seen here. Everbody here is either like to flirt or gossip management is really the worst possible. They treat people like shit. If you take too many leaves( that you earned or your right anyway) they will create a whole scene about it and somehow make sure that you get thrown out of company. I liked the ambience in general. The feeling of working for a big company as most of the content writing, copyediting services are relatively smaller ones. On time salaries, good food, hygiene etc are plus points of working with big firms.

Dislikes

I was laid off during the lockdown and I was told that it's happening because the company is minimizing its employee size and since I was in my probation period, I had to be picked first. I was made to resign and I did. Seven months later, I tried to get into it again, as I liked the feeling of working for an MNC. I took two tests and I was told that I have scored the highest. They also commended my performance in the test. The HR offered me a okayish salary and I said Yes. Everything was decided and the HR gave me the joining date and also told me that she will be sending me offer letter. I didn't receive any offer letter and so I showed up directly on the joining date. I waited and sat there for a couple of hours after which an HR executive called me to tell that the manager I have previously worked with has given a negative feedback for me and so they can't proceed with the hiring. This was ridiculous on so many terms: 1. For the 4 months I worked with Aptara, I worked with utmost dedication and perfection too. I can present appreciation notes by my seniors as testimony that my performance was quite up to the mark. 2. I did have an argument with a senior once but that got resolved soon. The senior took it personally and for seven months he had borne his grudge against me- so much so to extort my job after such a period of time. 3. Ludicrous how his personal opinion mattered after 7 months and not my excellent score and performance in the test and office while I worked with them. I have heard this many, many times that there is lot of politics going on in Aptara. I never believed in any of that until it happened with me....Read More

Its a good place to work, specially for freshers. Its an employee friendly company that makes you feel comfortable. But they provide low salary with high volume of work.

Dislikes

Salary is very less at the same time appraisal is not guaranteed.
