Amazon is a great place to work however if your new to the industry or fresher its better to go a challenging roles in Amazon and keep your options open for skills based roles. Will not recommend any role with is not based on the IT skills.

Dislikes

Growth area is something that will take a lot of time in Amazon. Although its good in the beginning but you will regret staying more than 2 years with out growth. Benefits like stock compensation practices and transportation and Sodexo for food are getting older and needs a rise since it has not changed since its inception in India.

Flexibility in working is one good thing in Amazon

1.Amazon work culture is totally pathetic.No job security. I joined in April 2022 ,no proper new joine orientation, no proper training ,they will give you bulk work after 1 day of training,they hired me for one team and pushed me to another team and I have worked there for 1 month 2.Then they changed me to different process and theexperience has no value .Manager always force you to give process improvement idea which is very difficult in such process . 3.manager will judge you onthe basis of scorecard ,and those scorecard system is pathetic . 4.if you constantly score buttom of the scorecard then they will put you in coching plan and then they will force you to put in PIP 5.My manager was the worst ,I worked hard completed all my allocated work but if I make 1 error in a week also he always scared me to put me in PIP .from 8500 counts he found out 1 error and though I have given process improvement my manager put in into coching plan due to what personal grauze I don't even know Finally he forced me to put me in PIP ,either resign or go un PIP where the objective to come out from PIP is supper hard. I quit finally . In my amazon career I always achieved 100% productivity and 99% quality but still they forced me to resign .though I know people who achieved 80% quality are still in amazon .but I could not complain .
