Work Culture has regressed to BPO levels, where micro management and skill development is minimal to none. Office networking is purely based on your native state, Hindi is the preferred language. Concept development for career growth like projects will be discouraged unless you belong to the above group. This flows from the top where the new CEO has announced that it does not matter who gets the ideas for projects, it only matters who implements it. Owing to this managers are hostile when you bring in ideas, after which the projects is stalled or canceled, then the same projects is handed out to your peers who stand in favourable terms with their team managers. This is implemented through the fabled one pager. By favourable, I mean not your performance stats or even ad-hoc tasks nor behavioural issues, purely based on how unprofessional your relationship with your manager is. (eg; how often you buy things for managers, how often you turn up to drink when your manager wants you to. It is to an extent where the manager will tolerate you even if you harass a women employee and she complains about it) The pay scale has fallen drastically from an avg of 6 to 4.5 lacs P.A. While I was working there, issues such as restricting lateral movement were prevalent.
