Arguably the worst organisation to work in considering there are no employee benefits other than a postpaid sim card that comes with a max limit. Coming to cons, I can mention end number of them but let's settle at a few: 1) Horrible culture that starts with micromanagement and ends with calls on Sunday morning with commands (not requests) to work on random issues and requirements. 2) No one cares about quality of development and wants features to be delivered within hours without proper testing and release plan. 3) Every team faces comparison from other teams despite the fact that actual problem lies in the senior officials who work like daily wage workers. 4) Flexibility - what is that? You get paid to come 5 days in office and spend 9 hours daily without expecting a single moment of gratitude. 5) Every small request is met with personal comments/insults by HR and managers who have teamed up to make every employee's life a living hell. 6) They can't fix a coffee machine and that's why we cannot expect a working infra either which has zero support for developers. 7) Pollution, rain, earthquake, fire or tornado should not stop you from arriving into office to earn the daily wage. Managers flirting with female employees and promising good appraisals and promotions in return. I've never encountered a place where less experienced employee manages those with more experience. They compare you other employees There is no extra activities to refresh your mind. Every day you have to go with same flow. Not user friendly environment to work. You don't have oppertunity to express your queries or raise any voice. If you do so they will create some synario with HR that you have put resignation. HR will always listen to the manager , your voice doesn't matter for them

The atmosphere in the office castle was tense, with whispers of dissatisfaction echoing through the corridors. Team meetings felt more like inquisitions, where ideas were dissected and often dismissed without a second thought. Instead of collaboration, competition and fear reigned supreme. But the tale doesn’t end here. Over time, the knights grew weary.They began to question whether this was the way a kingdom should be run. Productively began to falter, creativity dried up and morale reached an all - time low . It became clear that the kingdom could not thrive under Sir Micromanage’s heavy- handed rule . I have worked with some really great people who have excellent technical expertise. There are teams where good work culture is maintained. Office is in a mall, lot of fancy shops and restaurants.

Imagine the worst parts of every manager you’ve ever had, rolled into one glorious trainwreck of a human being, who has an ego of a Death Star. This dude couldn’t debug a prod issue but struts around like he’s Silicon Valley’s gift to humanity. A cowardly backstabber who thinks he’s Steve Jobs. He gives out raises and remote work like candy to his loyal minions, expecting them to grovel at his feet. A charming mix of insecurity and favoritism. Picture a guy who’s as two-faced as a coin, but less useful. Hikes and work-from-home perks are reserved exclusively for his personal fan club—the ones who’ve mastered the art of brown-nosing and boot-kissing. It’s less about performance and more about servitude. If you’re not bending over backwards to inflate his already oversized ego, forget about any perks. He’s the micromanagement maestro, obsessing over every minor detail like a boomer on steroids. Not only is he tracking every single leave you take, but he’s also got a whole spreadsheet dedicated to it. And come month-end, he’s right there, spamming your inbox with reminders. Ignore him, and he’ll go ahead and apply the leaves himself. It’s like he’s got this pathological need to control even the smallest aspects of your work life. He’s got a calendar with everyone’s lunch and coffee breaks marked on it, too. In his mind, this is what makes him a ‘good manager.’ It’s like he’s got this desperate need to control every tiny detail, probably because it’s the only thing he can actually handle. Not content with just being an incompetent micromanaging backstabber, he’s also a master of psychological warfare. This genius has a brilliant strategy to ‘motivate’ his team: he loves to crank up the pressure to 11 and then threaten to put people on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) if they don’t dance to his tune. He never throws a party, but boy, does he show up to yours and eat all the expensive stuff. It’s like inviting a black hole to your buffet. He’s that guy who brings a salad to a potluck and leaves with a full plate of prime meat. I have not seen a sadder, frustrated, gossip-queen, mean, spineless, tech-illiterate control freak with the social skills of a wet sock, who thinks fear is a great motivator. - chaotic approach to development due to short-sightedness and micromanagement of engineering manager - poor and outdated infrastructure - good appraisals are reserved for employees who are willing to work in servitude of manager - manager is running entire project as per his personal whims and wishes without any care for proper planning, execution or quality standards - HR and organisations on a whole are unable to set up any company wise policies and standards, allowing management to create a toxic, chaotic environment - manager is willing to hog all credit for good work but will distance himself from any responsibility as soon as something goes wrong - Unreasonable pressure on leads and devs as sprint scope as well as requirement changes on daily basis due to rushed task execution demands of manager...Read More
