Offer rescinded on the day of joining. After I had resigned from my existing job.

After receiving the offer letter, I resigned from my existing job. In the duration leading up to the joining date, I was constantly in touch with the onboarding team. However on the day of joining, I was suddenly informed that the offer is now rescinded.
