Plenty of time at hand when no product deliveries Decent work environment

Dislikes

Lot of politics. Only few people get to grow here. Things have become worst after covid situation. All that matters to management is product delivery. After that they won't care about employee. Many talented people have left the company. I personally faced lot of disappointment here. Same can be said for my team mates. Others opinion/experience may differ.

Pros: Learn by yourself. Advice: Don't join as of Jan 2022, maybe after some years.

Dislikes

Cons: it's like people would bite each other for bits and scraps either for the work or money. Almost everyone in my team reminded me of schoolchildren where people would cry for increasing 1 marks. By demographic: 50% kannada, 40% telegu, 9+ % Tamil, 0.5% Hindi. Office language: kannada Bond: 3 years No development work in systems. Salary revision: irregular

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
