I worked as the a travel advisor with Expedia for [24]7.ai. The overall experience was good! It depends on which process you work for. The training environment is nice and makes you feel good, also a lot of skill development.

Dislikes

The company has a very poor management. Right from the transport service to salary everything had faults. There are salary discrepancies, the transport sevice picks you up 2 hrs prior to the shift. They can change processes at their own whims and fancies which affects the salary of the employee. There is zero work-life balance. The floor life is hectic more than hectic it is bad. Poor management there as every employee needs to wait for breaks and there are no fixed breaks. This even though had been addresses to the HR Nothing had been looked into....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
