LTE call flow is the sequence of events that occur during a voice or data call in a LTE network.

• UE attaches to the network and establishes a connection with the eNodeB

• eNodeB assigns resources and sets up a radio link with the UE

• UE sends a request to establish a connection with the core network (MME)

• MME authenticates the UE and assigns it an IP address

• Data packets are exchanged between the UE and the network

• Upon call termination, resources are released and connection is closed
