Q1. What are various languages used in SQL

Ans.

SQL is not a programming language, but it has its own syntax. Some of the languages used in SQL are DDL, DML, DCL, and TCL.

  • DML (Data Manipulation Language) is used to manipulate data in the database

  • DCL (Data Control Language) is used to control access to the database

  • TCL (Transaction Control Language) is used to manage transactions in the database

Q2. What is polymorphism

Ans.

Polymorphism is the ability of an object to take on many forms.

  • It allows objects of different classes to be treated as if they were objects of the same class.

  • It is achieved through method overriding and/or method overloading.

  • Example: A parent class Animal can have child classes like Dog, Cat, and Bird, each with their own unique implementation of the method 'makeSound'.
