Some of the highly experienced employees are not aware of the concepts which cannot be supportive at times when needed help. When little experience employees help them, they won't even consider that as help and will not show case it that they received that help, which can be like a showoff 3. Some managers are really toxic, when it comes to work, they keep asking about the updates on the project every now and then even there are like 2-3 daily standup updates that will be given every day.

I joined Cognizant as a fresher and it’s a best place for starting your career. Culture is very good maybe because of company USA origin. I got good ratings for my hard work without any politics.

Salary and hike is low. Waiting period for promotion is so high even though if you have top year end rating.

I did like the culture of PGS before 3 year. Now in these days the function has been changed and only the relationship with our manager and understanding that is good.

...payment method and the promotion structure. PGS have a term that called Prinpay. That means you have to keep your 10% of salary deposited to company till a financial year. Once that year ended then you will receive the amt from that 10%. It depends on your and companies performance. That means you will never get your entire 10%. You will always received an X amt from that 10%. And they also called it as performance incentive.
