...o right if said by client. Very bad background check process can run upto 1year. Very less or no hike . Hardly pays 70%of variable after a year. Very difficult to get another project. Bad culture. No work life balance and no pay for recruitment work doing at weekend.

Leadership is aligned with the vision of the company, thereby encouraging resources to get adequately trained in relevant technologies. Employee are respected and their personal life is respected inspite of heavy work pressure. Senior management is willing to listen to employee woes.

Dislikes

When recruiting new employees in higher packages, HR Management should consider existing employee's salary gap as well.

Likes

If the client is good, Cognizant is good. They offered good salary when hired and when promoted. Udemy and Coursera access for free. Even if we get no work for a month or more, they hold you in the project before releasing you to bench.

Dislikes

When the client is bad, so is Cognizant. Getting release from your manager is tough. All the above factors depends on the clients employees get.

Work life balance is good in most projects I have worked. Also there is a good opportunity to learn.

Salary is not great especially for long term employees.

Not getting proper opportunity in promotion. Salary decreased as u stay long. Management least bother to align your work and designation.
