Will TCS retain without an offer
Will TCS try to retain me if I don't have an offer in hand? I have 6+ years of experience and a salary of 5 LPA. I'm planning to resign and search for other opportunities. I'm a critical resource in my project. I would be happy even if TCS offers 8 LPA

TCS might try to retain you if you're a critical resource, but without an offer, it could be tricky. Have you spoken to your manager or HR about your concerns?

If you’re really critical for the project, they might make a counteroffer to keep you, especially if you express your concerns. Have you discussed the salary gap with them?

It’s possible, especially with your experience and critical role in the project. TCS may want to avoid a disruption, but without an offer, the situation might be tricky. What’s your reason for leaving...career growth, salary, or something else?

Given that you’re a critical resource, there’s a good chance TCS will try to retain you. But the 8 LPA offer is something you should put forward to HR. What’s been the most challenging part of your job at TCS?

I think they might make a move to retain you if you’re an important resource. But without an offer, it’s hard to predict. Have you considered asking for a salary review before making any decisions?

6+ years of experience is a big deal, and being critical to the project is definitely in your favor. TCS may try to offer you a retention bonus or a hike, but you might need to present a clear case. What kind of role are you looking for next?

they might be open to a counteroffer. But the reality is, it depends on their budget and the market. Would 8 LPA be enough for you to stay, or is career growth more important?
