What next !!
Hey, I need some suggestions.
Total work experience. 7.5 yr
About myself: I completed my Mechanical Engineering and the worked for ~ 6 yrs with an automotive organization. Then I did my MBA and joined an IT consulting firm, and right now I'm working as a Product Manager (involves GenAi) since last 1.5 yrs.
I am in a dilemma right now, whether I should continue the product management field or should I go back to manufacturing/ automotive industry.
I like the role that I play as a product manager but since I don't have a CS/IT background I sometimes find it difficult to understand things.
Pls share your suggestions.
Thank You. :)

You're already in the role and seem to enjoy it. Plus, product management is a growing field with lots of opportunities. I understand there are technical challenges without a CS/IT background. But hey, that's where continuous learning and upskilling come in! Keep at it!

You have a good thing going on as a product manager but don't you think manufacturing/automotive industry was more interesting ?
