We are earning only to pay more taxes!!
After you cross the 50 LPA salary mark, majority of your salary starts going to government as a tax!
Your take home salary hardly increases by 10 LPA, even if your CTC is increased from 50 LPA to 1 crore!
Why even bother earning and going up to the corporate hierarchy if you are doing it all for the government only?

I just came to this realization when i got my new offer. I decided at that moment, stay here for the next 2 years, and move abroad, probably UAE, atleast I get to have the money I earn, and even if there's VAT, the quality of life is there for the taxes I pay.

Job Offer Dilemma

Salary -- Accepted Offer
I accepted an offer where they gave me around 120% hike on current salary, but 2 weeks later I got to know that there are paying other candidates more than me for the same role with even less experience. Can I reach out to HR for salary revision after accepting offer? I still have 3 weeks left for joining. *My interview went really well. But HR low balled just becuase of current salary

Hello this is Mrutyunjoy Sinha 26 (M) working in a customer care company from last 2 and a half year. But the problem is there is no salary hike and no promotions no matter how much hard work you do.
