I am a mechanical design engineer with 5.5 years of experience in plastic, sheet metal, and casting design. I am currently working on a third-party payroll with very little job security. I am planning to switch companies for better job security. I currently earn 8 LPA, which is below the market standard. If a recruiter from an OEM or MNC contacts me, how much salary should I expect?

I think you're on the right track with aiming for 12-15 LPA! πŸš€ 30% increase is a good target for someone with your experience in mechanical design
